THE ROAD THAT
LED ME HERE
ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Lewis
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (License Number: PSY34739) based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work with adults statewide who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck. I work with clients from a deep psychological perspective to help them gain relief and self direction.

I use psychodynamic–depth psychology approach, to establish a shared understanding of my client’s real-world view. I want to help my clients do deep soul work, allowing them to integrate elements of their unconscious and charting a path toward alignment and balance within.
MY STORY
My journey to mental healthcare
The pain of failing businesses, a newborn child, and the unexpected death of a close relative both within 60 days of occurring accidentally started me on the journey to becoming a therapist. After experiencing several life challenges and life-changing events so close to one another, I pondered the idea of going back to school for business or law. One of my trusted elders advised against law school and shared that he thought I would be a good therapist. I decided to volunteer at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County’s suicide hotline for the next year and a half. I knew within the first three months of volunteering I wanted to help people achieve better mental health.
HELPING OTHERS HEAL
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural fit because I have always found fulfillment in helping others who are in a challenging life situation or need to talk and process what life has dealt them. I was able to take the natural feelings of wanting to help others and combine them with the rigorous training of a clinical psychology degree and California Psychologist licensure.
MY CLIENT GOALS
What brings you here today?
I like to ask clients what brings them to therapy. It's also important to delve deeper into what the clients' goals are and what they hope to accomplish during each session.
